College of Health Science & Nusing of Wuhan Polytechnic University was estalished in 1958,based on the former Wuhan Transportation Health School under the direct administration of the Ministry of Communications.In 2000,the whole school was amalgamated with Wuhan Polytechnic University,namely School of Medicine,WHPU.In 2006,its name changed to Health Sciences & Nursing Dept.

The fields learning at College of Health Science & Nusing of Wuhan Polytechnic University cover two programs, namely nursing science and rehabilitation science,for baccalaureate students, and two programs,namely nursing and medicine marketing,for junior college students.It has two centers,one is basic medical center,the other is clinical training center for all students.Among its faculty members, there are 7 got Ph.D,20 got master degree.Along the academic ladder, there are 5 full-time professors and 13 accociate professors.At present,15 teaching hospital bases can offer clinical traing for all students.
