Synopsis of the Course Content
Pharmacology is a basic medical discipline that provides the basic theory for appropriate administration of medications so as to prevent the occurrence of diseases in clinics. There are two aspects involved. On the one hand, it studies the medications’ actions on humans’ body as well s the medications’ mechanism, namely the medications’ effect dynamics; on the other hand, it studies the medications’ process in human beings’ body, that is to say, the medications metabolic dynamics. Its mission is to clarify the actions of medication and its mechanism, the effect, prevention of adverse effect, gradually improve the quality of medications, enhance remedy effects, studies and explore new medications. What nursing students should master are the medications’ effect, mechanism, clinical use, side effects, preventions of toxicity as well as the basic theory of interactions between medications. In this case, students can lay a firm foundation for clinical nursing work.

Synopsis of the Course Content
Biochemistry is a specialized fundamental course, which studies the chemical essence of life from molecular level. The main contents include the chemical composition of humans, the structures of significant creatures, the basic regularity of substance metabolism, the relationship between substance structure, metabolism and life, the transfer of each chemical signal in human’s body as well as the expression of heretic information. As far as structures are concerned, it can be classified into narrative biochemistry, namely substance structures which include the chemical structures and functions of protein, nucleic acid, enzymes, vitamins and so on; and dynamic biochemistry – metabolic regulation that involves the metabolism of sugar,, fat, amnio acid, nucleotide and etc, the energy metabolism and the regulation of substance metabolism.; Heretic information consists of the duplication , transfer, translation and its regulation, etc. The designated article includes the biochemistry of liver and blood, heretic project, gene of cancer and something like that.
